Discover Kvadraturen - The History of Christiania

Oslo Municipality wanted the public to get better acquainted with Kvadraturen, the city area once known as Christiania. Here is the website we created.

Discover KvadraturenAbout the project

On the website, you will find exciting stories about Kvadraturen's development, the streets, buildings, and the people who have used them. The website is specially designed for mobile use, so you can discover Kvadraturen while strolling through the city's streets.

We contributed with UX, design, illustrations, and development. The website is built on Craft CMS.

Good Morning is highly skilled and professional, delivering on time as agreed. We are very satisfied with the result and look forward to continued collaboration with Good Morning.

We followed the visual profile of Oslo Municipality but wanted to make the design and layout a bit more exciting than just standard image and text blocks.

The website consists of a series of locations, called sights. These can be grouped into walking tours tailored to a specific theme. The website is available in both Norwegian and English.

Each walk and stop has its unique URL so that they can be shared on social media, and most importantly, accessed via a QR code found on signs around Kvadraturen.
